The plan wasn't to get to wall maria after all I guess. Apparently the whole purpose was to capture the female titan. It's strange that only a selective number of people were informed of this plan, but at the same time it makes sense because they don't know who the traitor is. All they know is that it has to be someone who saw the attack five years ago and knows about Eren's ability. Now the identity of the female titan, colossus titan, and armored titan are something of an interest to me even though I have a feeling we have not been introduced to who those characters might be. (view spoiler)[Except for the female titan, I'm guessing that she is Annie for some reason. (hide spoiler)]

What was interesting about this was the back and forth fighting between the soldiers and the titan. I don't just mean the fighting, but the back and forth planning that had to go into this. Whether the outcome was successful or not, I won't say for the sake of spoiling, but I will say that it was interesting to see the risks and how much Commander Erwin was willing to risk all for the sake of capturing the female titan.

An interesting conversation about humanity was brought up when Armin and Jean were talking about all of the deaths of the soldiers. It was bloody and it was violent. In fact, I think that this was just as bad as the attacks from the colossus titan and that titans that followed. Anyways, they were talking about Commander Erwin may seems like a heartless soul for risking all of these soldiers lives in order to go through with this plan, but at the same time tons of people died. And if you think about it, they may not have needed to die. But because of the fact that the people hardly know a thing about titans, the risk needed to be made because of the possibility to learn new information about the titans based on the female titan. In my opinion, if the Commander hadn't taken this chance, then no one would ever take these chances because he isn't afraid of death if that's what it takes to find a way to save humanity.

(view spoiler)[Unfortunately though, since she was not captured and made it so that the titans ate her before the corps could get her, humanity is basically back at square 1. Basically the whole thing was a pointless fail. But at least they tried, right? (hide spoiler)]

I did feel a little bad with what happened to Levi's squad. Maybe it's because I confuse all of the characters of maybe it's because I am at the point where I know better to care that I don't care at all. About anyone. I know that seems mean, but if Eren or Mikasa or someone else were to kick the bucket in the next chapter it wouldn't matter. Well ok, it would matter if it was Eren since he's the focus of the story. But other than that I really don't care. I may as well be a titan for being so heartless to these humans...
